Recommended for Grades 5-12.

Immerse your students in the kinetic eloquence of Ronald K. Brown/EVIDENCE, joined by local trailblazer TU Dance. EVIDENCE aims “to promote understanding of the human experience in the African Diaspora through dance and storytelling and to provide connections to history and tradition through music and movement.” This interactive, dynamic exploration features excerpts of works by Ronald K. Brown performed by EVIDENCE and TU Dance—exploring how music, culture, choreography, and history combine, deepening the students’ understanding of dance. The one-hour event includes dance demonstrations, conversation about stage production and design, and a Q&A with the artists.
