Ever wonder how dancers got their big break? Well, in this case, it's ABT II. A group of 12 young dancers hand-selected worldwide are ABT-ers in training. In a business where a career possibly only lasts as long as their physical bodies allow, these young adults are starting out young and investing in an opportunity sure to benefit. The dancers radiate youthful energy through their repertoire, breathing a smile of playful nature onto the classic face of ballet.

In keeping up with their role models in ABT, ABT II dancers don't just stick to dance. In addition to intensive rehearsals, they also shake it out with Pilates and yoga. And they aren't lacking in their global awareness either - whether it be through cultural exchanges, scholastic outreach programs, residencies abroad, or simply working with international choreographers, ABT II's education gets around the globe.

Don't miss the youthful future of ballet at Northrop on October 9. They'll be infusing their fresh oomph into a variety of work including Balanchine's Allegro Brillante, along with Barbara and Interplay.
