The Sound of Silence

Come experience The Sound of Silence. Peter Sarsgaard stars with Rashida Jones in this independent film as a kind of acoustic cartographer, a “house tuner” who hires out his services adjusting the soundscapes of people’s homes – while systematically mapping the notes of New York City neighborhoods.

This thought-provoking film and auditory adventure is screening for one night only at Northrop’s Best Buy Theater. Afterward, join us for conversation with screenwriter and producer Ben Nabors. Nabors will discuss the film – and how science informed its story and writing – with IonE Associate Director and pediatric neuropsychologist Cathy Jordan.
