Somali Night 2023

The Somali Student Association is celebrating their 25th year on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus with their highly anticipated Somali Night! The Somali Student Associations’s widely recognized Somali Night is the closing show of the annual weeklong initiative, Somali Culture Week, dedicated to educating the University of Minnesota campus and the Twin Cities community about the rich Somali culture and heritage.

Somali Night aims to highlight the artistic talents within the Somali community by bringing singers, dancers, poets, actors, and fashion designers from the Somali diaspora together to showcase the diverse talents within the community.

This year's event will feature performances from Hodan Abdirahman, Sahn, and Sammy Eden with additional performances including The Somali Museum of Minnesota Dance Troupe, and more!
