Socaholix

The Socaholix are a high-energy Caribbean dance band that has been gracing stages in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area since 2010. Comprised of members from the Caribbean, Africa, and the USA, the magical musicianship creates an energy that is both unique and infectious.

Socaholix performs a genre known as “Soca,” a hybrid genre of Soul and Calypso that is commonly found in the Eastern Caribbean. With this upbeat soca music, Socaholix creates a synergy on-stage that fully encompasses the Afro-Caribbean diaspora on the highest sonic level.
