2024 MacArthur Fellow and 2024 Doris Duke Artist Award winner Shamel Pitts created the concept and choreography for Touch of RED, and performs in the duet with Tushrik Fredericks. In this conversation ahead of the Mar 6–8 performances, he describes his artistic process with Kristen Brogdon, Northrop's director of artistic and community programs. (Performance tickets sold separately.)
