Paul Christian

Paul Christian has performed over 700 shows from coast to coast. His career has taken a few unexpected turns, from getting an offer to sell his music to a few National Recording Artists after only 2 days on (a now defunct) mp3.com networking site and only days into his career, to moving to Chicago to study with the renowned, preeminent jazz singer Kurt Elling.

Another turn of events brought Paul back to Minnesota when he was offered the chance to record, free of charge, in a new studio on the banks of the St. Croix River. Paul found the opportunity too good to pass up. Paul returned to get his debut in the studio. Many of the songs from those sessions became Paul's first record "Never Been Lonely" and others still remain unreleased.

Leaving jazz behind, Paul moved back into more familiar musical material. Taking advice and guidance for direction in his career, in strokes of dumb luck, Paul met veterans in the Entertainment Business, from Robert, lead man from the Apples in Stereo (his old neighbor), Ben Harper, whom he met on the road and a member from the Counting Crows that approached Paul to talk Record Labels.

Among Paul Christian's current projects are the highly anticipated, soon-to-be-released summertime themed, Beach Boys esque "Summertime" record, also an "Electro-pop project" currently being recording in Denver and due out next year and his fourth project, he calls "a more traditional record" that he's writing now.
