Majora Carter, a world-renowned leader in local economic development strategies and green-collar job training & placement systems, will present her perspectives on transforming communities. In addition to Carter's presentation, the evening will feature a performance by Ananya Dance Theatre, which offers contemporary interpretations of Indian dance in a spirit of community building and social change, blending artistic dimensions of the Odissi classical dance form, yoga, martial arts, Indian ritual practices and street theater.
