Dancemaker

Directed by Matthew Diamond, 1998This documentary follows Paul Taylor and his company during 1997, and provides an intimate look at the choreographer and his inspirations and vulnerability. The company is seen in rehearsals, on the road, and back stage. Taylor’s pieces Piazzolla Caldera and Esplanade both provide a backdrop for the film, among others.
