Northrop’s 2020-21 Film Series features several award-winning films with diverse artistic voices from around the world. From the streets of India in Mukti Bhawan(Hotel Salvation) to a small town in the republic of Georgia in The Dazzling Light of Sunset, this series includes notable works exploring the world’s history, social issues, and artistic performances.
Most film screenings will complement Northrop’s 2020-21 Dance Series events, providing deeper insight and context into the programs. A special screening of Flamenco Flamenco is presented as part of Northrop Across Campus programming. All screenings are free. All screenings will be presented online, with some offering extended viewing dates.
