Paging services - those who may need to receive emergency calls may check their pages and advise the attendant of their names and seat locations. Staff will notify patrons as quickly and discretely as possible during performances.

Security
As a precautionary measure, all patrons attending events at Northrop may be subject to personal search, including the inspection of coats and handbags. Backpacks, large purses, and similar items will not be allowed into the auditorium.

Restrooms
Restrooms are located on both sides of the auditorium: Women's in the basement and on the second floor (both sides of the building) and on the third floor (east side); Men's restrooms in the basement (east side) and on third floor (west side).
Cameras
Cameras, pagers, and recording equipment are not permitted in the auditorium, as a courtesy to the artists. Bright flashes can temporarily blind a performer, and recording devices infringe on copyright laws. Please check these items with staff.
Emergency Information
In case of fire or other emergency, a state-of-the-art alarm system will direct patrons to evacuate the building. Ushers will be available to assist. Please identify the exit closest to your seat.
Accessibility
Accessibility accommodations such as building accessibility, parking, and seating are available for Northrop patrons. Please request disability-related seating provisions when ordering tickets; accessible parking information will be mailed or faxed by request. Concessions
Expanded catering such as sandwiches, desserts, wine, and beer are now available in the Northrop lobby. Enjoy exciting new and varying menu options before performances and at intermission. There is no food or beverage allowed in the auditorium.
Children
Children of all ages, (including infants) must have tickets to enter the auditorium. We appreciate your consideration in choosing events appropriate to the age of your children.
Late Arrivals
Late arrivals and those wishing to re-enter the auditorium after a performance has begun will be seated in the rear of the auditorium. For some performances, artist may request a hold out.
Motorist Assistance
The Motorist Assistance Program is a FREE service to help Twin Cities Parking and Transportation Services customers who are legally parked in any University parking facility. This includes University meters, surface lots, ramps, garages, loading zones, and vendor stalls. This program does not include Fairview-University Hospital parking facilities.

University Escort Service
Escort service is offered by the University of Minnesota Police Department. Security escorts are available 24 hours a day by calling (612) 624-WALK.
