Parking
Northrop is located in the heart of the vibrant, active University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus—other scheduled events often impact traffic and parking availability.
- Select events and all Northrop Season Dance events offer prepaid parking at the Church Street Garage or the Fourth Street Parking Ramp when possible and encourage you to arrive early. Please note, parking spaces fill quickly when there are other on-campus events happening at the same time as those at Northrop. See the Parking and Transportation Services Calendar and a full list of UMN Twin Cities Campus events for any activities that may impact traffic and parking.
- Note: If any parking facility is listed as "Reservation Only," you will not be able to park there without a pre-paid parking pass.

Highly recommended if available! Prepaid reservations make event parking on campus so much easier. You can make a reservation at the same time you buy tickets to most events happening at Northrop or purchase prepaid parking separately prior to the day of the event. Purchase prepaid parking for the Church Street Garage or (if you wish to be slightly removed from the busy campus hub) at the Fourth Street Ramp, about two blocks away.
Subscribers, your parking tickets have been delivered along with your performance tickets via email.
Your prepaid parking pass is valid as early as 3 hours prior to the start of your event, and is valid for entry up to 90 minutes after the start of the event. Reservations will be forfeited if you have not arrived by that time.
