Sarah White is a singer/emcee, musician and photographer known for her sultry voice, conscious message and experimental sound. Merging genre's and digging deeper for new sounds and rhythms, she begs you open your ears and hearts.

Proudly born and raised in the beautiful and lake-filled city of Minneapolis, music and art have been surrounding Sarah since birth. Through its journey, she studied piano, flute, guitar and voice, but found the most joy once she found her passion with singing and emceeing. Sarah has had the privilege of working with various bands, Dj's, Musicians and Sound Artists, on a ride through Hip Hop, Trip-Hop, Soul, House and eventually landing in Brooklyn, NY, and making it home for 5 years. Sharing stages and collaborating with talented artists including K-OS, Imani Uzuri, King Britt, J*Davey, Jose James, M.anifest and Ras G, Sarah has played both nationally and internationally, doing everything from vocal soundscapes to acoustic candlelit harmonies. Proving that being a mother doesn't mean you have to miss a beat, Sarah has independently released 2 solo albums, her voice is featured on label releases from the Midwest to Tokyo and won Scion's Electronic Vocalist Competition in 2009.

Sarah is currently working on a project called Cultura Love Experiement (a collage between electronic and indigenous sounds), working on the soundscape for an aerial production, There Are Other Worlds, and was recently a part of a sound installation at the Walker Art Center. She is excited to be back in Minneapolis and ready to jump back in with some musical waves!
